There are many ways to reach Rome Downtown from Fiumicino Airport!

We tried to make a schema... so you can compare prices and choose the best solution for a transfer between airport and Rome: we will compare the public Train , public Taxi and a private shuttle service.

Train

: is called LEONARDO EXPRESS , the price is 15 euro per person.
The Route is : ROMA TERMINI <-> FIUMICINO FCO AIRPORT.
Operating time approx. from 6AM till 11PM.

Public Taxi

: Normally a white car. Price is fixed to 40,00 euro (deliberazione della Giunta Comunale n. 493 del 6/9/2006), and is apply to all Taxis with Rome license.
You must ask the price to the driver before ! Some travellers reports that the fare sometimes is not respected ... in that case please don't go in the car ...
The cost of taxi with license from another city (like Fiumicino) have no fixed price and is around 64 euro.
Be carefull also about false taxi-drivers.
You will find the taxis exiting from the terminal.
 

Private Shuttle

: Normally a limousine , mini van or van shuttle.
This is a quality service, the driver will wait you at the airport, you don't have to stress and most important NO LINES !
It looks expensive but depends from more factors like number of persons ... time you can spend at the airport ... location of your accommodation.
Price are 50 euro for a Sedan , 64 euro for a minivan and 74 for a van.
